Currently, the Razorbacks are No. 23 in the AP Poll and they have to prove that they are one of the best as they play against SEC opponent.
“If you’re going to be able to contend in the SEC, you’ve got to be a good defensive team and you’ve got to be able to dominate the glass when you get a chance to,” coach Mike Anderson said.
In the previous meetings of the two teams in March 1, Arkansas defeated Georgia 87-75. However, Georgia won the battle of the boards 39-28.
Georgia (9-3) are riding in a six-game winning streak that clobbered the opponents by an average of 13.7 points. The Bulldogs also have plus 4.5 rebounding margin against the opposing teams.
While the Razorbacks have their duo, the Bulldogs have Charles Mann and Kenny Gaines to supply the offense as they average 12.7 and 11.3 points respectively. J.J. Frazier can be added as one of the sparks by averaging 9.2 per game coming off the bench.
