Alamo Bowl 2015 scores and highlights: UCLA ends up victorious
Brett Hundley completed 12 of 24 passes for 13 yards and a touchdown, and added two touchdowns and 93 yards on the ground to lead the Bruins in overpower the Kansas State Wildcats, 40-35, in the Alamo Bowl.

The Kansas State Wildcats will play the UCLA Bruin play at Valero Alamo Bowl s in January on , 2015, 6:45 P.M. ET at Alamodome, in San Antonio, Texas.
The Wildcats have won five consecutive games from Sept. 27 to Nov. 1. Kansas State defeated the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys to become a team to contend for the Big 12 title. The Wildcats narrowly escaped the Sooners with the score, 31-30. Oklahoma missed the field goal and Kansas State held its stand until the time ends. Jake Waters, the Wildcats quarterback, had a career game against the Sooners with 225 passing yards, a 53 yard run and three touchdowns.
Kansas State’s wide receiver Tyler Lockett will be the key for its offense. Lockett this season had a total receiving yards of 1351, a total 93 receptions and averaging 14.5 yards per game with nine touchdowns. He is the all-time leading receiver in Kansas State history surpassing his Father Kevin. Lockett will have Waters as his compliment. Waters totalled 3163 passing yards this season with 20 passing touchdowns.
Kansas State was unable to have a marquee win of the non-conference season. The Wildcats have slipped the opportunity to win over Auburn. In that game Lockett unsuccessfully catch the football in the end zone that allowed an Auburn defender to negate a touchdown. Jack Cantele, the Wildcats kicker missed three field goals.
Meanwhile, the UCLA Bruins won five games on a row after it dropped back to back games against the Utah Utes and the Oregon Ducks. The Bruins defeated its rival the USC Trojans, 38-20, in that five game winning stretch. But UCLA had been defeated by the Stanford Cardinals. The Cardinals dominated the game outscoring the Bruins, 31-10.
Brett Hundley, the Bruins’ quarterback, is the player to watch. This season with the Bruins, Hundley totalled 3019 passing yards with 21 passing touchdowns. Hundley will take the opportunity to try to impress NFL scouts in the Bowl games.
