College Football Playoff Rankings and Standings: TCU 3rd while FSU…

The College Football Playoff selection committee has released the new rankings Tuesday night with controversies. Alabama remains and Oregon maintains its position at No. 2.

Questionably, TCU leaped into third place, overtaking the undefeated Florida State while Baylor, which defeated TCU, is at No 3.

First of all, the selection committee has not respected the undefeated status of the Seminoles. Secondly, the head-to-head match-up is not part of the equation, which Baylor should be higher.

No. 5 Ohio State loves to take part of the controversy. Ohio State may not have J.T. Barrett in the upcoming Big Ten Championship Game against Wisconsin but the committee may not taken his absence in consideration.

Baylor will have to wait for Kansas State to determine if it will climb better than TCU. However, both Baylor and TCU is the only conference left that can bring in two teams in the college football playoff.

If the college football rankings ends today, Alabama takes Florida State and Oregon faces TCU.
