Thursday Night Football: Chiefs vs Raiders tv channel schedule, preview, Scores and results

The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Oakland Raiders on Thursday Night Football at 8:25 PM. The Chiefs have to chance to have a better record against rivals Broncos with a victory.

Without a doubt, the Chiefs (7-3) have all the advantage in the world against the Raiders (0-10), who are searching for their first win.

Coach Andy Reid had guided the Chiefs into an 11-win AFC wild-card team last season from a two win in 2012. Reid showed his ability to coach despite not having the personnel needed to run the offense.

Kansas City surprised the visiting defending Super Bowl champions Seattle in a 20-14 victory last Sunday. Jamaal Charles rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns in 20 attempts against the defense of Seattle.

Having an offensive efficiency with Charles controlling the game, the Chiefs pulled off the win at home that paved the way for them to have the same record with Denver.

Alex Smith completed 11 of 16 passes for only 108 yards but he did not turn the ball over. He managed the game with such control and calmness, especially in the fourth quarter.

The Chiefs defense stopped Marshawn Lynch from scoring a rushing touchdown. As a matter of fact, Kansas City has not allowed any rushing touchdown this season.

On the other hand, the Raiders seek to have their first win in 11 games. They hope that the struggle will end here at home after losing to the Chargers last Sunday, 13-6.

While the Raiders have been losing some close games, they were not able make a statement early in a game, supposedly having the lead.

Quarterback Derek Carr completed 16 of 34 passes for 172 yards without a touchdown. The rushing offense also of the Raiders brought nothing on the table, aside from accumulating 71 yards.

Oakland Raiders have lost 16 straight games, outscored by 192 points and committed 34 turnovers. The last time the Raiders won a game was November 17, 2013. The Raiders may have that long drought but they can be dangerous on the Thursday Night Football.
