The battle for the Big 12 is heating up. The Kansas State Wildcats face the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday’s college football schedule at the Amon G. Carter Stadium, Fort Worth, TX.
The winner of the Big 12 conference is crucial in the college football playoff race. Whichever wins this match will likely increase its chances in climbing to the top four, especially when one on top of them will lose.

“We don’t worry about the rankings right now and where we’re at,” Horned Frogs safety Chris Hackett said. “Every week something’s going to change. And we just want to keep going up the ladder and try to win a game each week.”
Offensively, TCU averages 335.9 yards in passing and 214.1 in rushing. Defensively, TCU yields 229.9 yards in passing and 140.1 in rushing.
The Kansas City Wildcats (7-1, 5-0) are on the verge of winning the Big 12 with a win. However, they have to topple the high octane offense of the Horned Frogs which averaged 48 points per game.
The Wildcats defeated Oklahoma State, 48-14 on Saturday, through the efficient game of Jake Waters with 223 yards and two touchdowns.
In the receiving end, Curry Sexton had 159 yards and one touchdown in nine receptions, while Tyler Lockett added 94 yards and one touchdown. These two players will be needed to overpower the defense of TCU.
Offensively, Kansas State averages 251.4 yards in passing and 172.8 in rushing. Defensively, Kansas State yields 220.1 in passing and 100.9 in rushing, 9th in the nation.
