The Denver Broncos take on the Miami Dolphins in one of the crucial NFL games On Sunday, at 4:25 PM, at the Sports Authority Field, Denver, Colo.
Coming off from a 22-7 loss to St Louis last week, the Broncos want to bounce back and to start winning again. Without a doubt, the Broncos last two defeats were surprising because they were outscored 65-28 combined.
Peyton Manning completed 34 of 54 passes for 389 yards and one touchdown against two interceptions. Despite throwing to Demariyus Thomas for 103 yards and Emmanuel Sanders for 102 yards, Manning couldn’t lift his team into a victory against the defense fo the Rams.
“You feel like you’ve let your team down,” Manning said. “I didn’t feel like I carried my weight (Sunday). That’s pretty plain and simple.”
Offensively, Denver averages 323.0 yards in passing (2nd in the NFL) and 89.9 in rushing. Defensively, Denver yields 243 yards in passing and 73.4 in rushing (2nd in the NFL).
The Miami Dolphins would be tested especially in defending the passing game of the Broncos. The Dolphins displayed their defense in a 24-9 victory over Buffalo last week.
Ryan Tannehill completed 26 of 34 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns against no interceptions. He played with efficiency in leading his team into a victory. Lamar Miller added 86 yards on the ground in 15 attempts.
The second-ranked defense of Miami would love to contain the offense of Manning and the Broncos. Though it looks like impossible to stop Manning, Miami can utilize its speed in pass rushing the quarterback.
Offensively, Miami averages 221.1 in passing and 127.3 in rushing. Defensively, Miami yields 208 in passing and 94.5 in rushing.
