The Spartans average 263 yards in passing and 252 in rushing. Thus, the balance offense of the Spartans would be able to deny the Cornhuskers the win.

Defensively, Michigan State yields an average of 210.8 yards in passing and 78.3 in rushing. Michigan State lives through defense also.

Nebraska (5-0) football likes to take this opportunity to show to the world that it has the firepower to beat No. 10 Michigan State.

The rushing offense of Nebraska is not far from that of Michigan’s. In a win against Illinois last Saturday, Nebraska utilized the ground attack through Ameer Abdullah who rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns in 22 attempts. Imani Cross added 109 yards and one touchdown in 22 attempts also. Moreover, Tommy Armstrong Jr. rushed for 66 yards in 10 attempts and Jordan nelson had 35 yards in five runs.

Armstrong Jr. can play significant roles in both the running and the passing for Nebraska. As a mobile quarterback, he can dictate the offense of Nebraska. Last week, he also completed 10 of 21 passes for 166 yards and one touchdown. Kenny Bell could be responsible in the receiving end.

Offensively, Nebraska averages 217.8 yards in passing, 77th in the FBS, and 354.8 yards in rushing, 3rd in the league. With the rushing offense of Nebraska, it can defeat the defense of Michigan State.

Defensively, Nebraska yields an average of 223.2 yards per game in passing and 108.4 yards in rushing. Nebraska needs to contain the offense of Michigan State to have a chance of pulling this into a win.

Expect for an offensive shootout between the two contenders in the Big Ten Conference.
