Dwayne Bowe had 84 yards in five receptions to lead the way for the Chiefs in the receiving end. On the ground, Jamaal Charles had 95 yards in 22 attempts, including a touchdown.
Alex Smith completed 19 of 28 passes for 221 yards and one touchdown, while adding 29 yards in six attempts on the ground.
Philip Rivers completed 17 of 31 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns against one interception. He was clobbered by the defense of the Chiefs.
In the receiving end, Antonio Gates had only three receptions for 61 yards, though he was targeted five times. Keenan Allen caught six times for 58 yards.
