Meanwhile, the Auburn Tigers jumped into No. 2 when they defeated the LSU Tigers, 41-7, through the magnificent display of defensive stops by limiting the Tigers into just 142 yards in passing.
The Tigers also relied on their dual threat quarterback Nick Marshall who had 207 yards in the air and 119 yards on the ground, and four touchdowns, to in the air and two on running.
Offensively, Auburn averages 497 yards per game in total yards, 229.2 in passing and 268 in rushing. Auburn averages 42 points per game. The Bulldogs are not far away to the numbers of the Tigers. Offensively, Mississippi State averages 541 total yards, 267.4 in passing and 274.4 in rushing.
