Oregon football vs Wyoming: TV Schedule, Odds, Point Spread and Preview

No. 2 Oregon Ducks jumped one spot on the rankings as they continue to show aggressive offensive juggernaut. Passing the early test of the strength of the schedule, the Ducks overpowered Michigan State 46-27 on Saturday to stay in hunt for the playoff berth.

Marcus Mariota displayed to the world that he is one of the best quarterbacks in college football when he threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns to rally the Ducks from eight point deficit into winning by scoring the final 28 points.

Oregon had 673 yard in week one, and 491 yards against the tight defense of the Spartans in week 2. It is highly expected that the Ducks will have another game that can be won in the first half.

Against a low-key opponent, the Ducks will not take the game for granted. They believe that they have to stay sharp for the next game and that this is another game to cherish.

Freshman receiver Devon Allen stepped up last week when he had three catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns.

“We just have to come into practice realizing that we want to win all our games to realize our goal to make it to the playoff and play for a national championship,” Allen said. “We’re just going to prepare the same way we prepared last week and hopefully we have the same outcome.”

Mariota has plenty of weapons to utilize. He can rely on Keanon Lowe and Byron Marshall who caught three passes apiece against the Spartans’ defense. Moreover, the running game would be taken care by freshman running back Royce Freeman, who had 89 yards on the gruond and two touchdowns.

On the other hand, Wyoming is stingy in defense as it allowed just two touchdowns and 25 points. Wyoming defeated Montana in a 17-12 score and Air Force in a 17-13.

While the Cowboys captured two wins, their offense was not that reliable, especially that they are up against the Ducks. Colby Kirkegaard threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns last week but he only had 92 yards in the opener.

Watch out for Dominic Rufan who has 39 straight games with a caught pass. He made six catches for 119 yards last Saturday.
