After few weeks of playing for the Gilas Pilipinas in th FIBA World Cup, the Xinjiang Flying Tigers have signed free agent big man Andray Blatche.
Blatche deal is worth $2.5 million with the Flying Tigers, according to Yahoo Sports. The center couldn’t find a contract in any of the NBA teams. It was rumored during the FIBA weeks that the Miami Heat were interested on him, but no deal has materialized.
The big man averages 11.2 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Brooklyn Nets last season. He played an average of 22.2 minutes per game but it dropped to just four minutes in the playoff.
Blatche just came from the FIBA World Cup for the Philippines and he averaged 21.2 points and 13.8 rebounds in five games.
