GILAS Pilipinas won its second straight victory in Miami, Florida, defeating an athletic and taller Elev8 squad in rout with the score 93-84, in a tune up game on Sunday (Monday, Manila time).
The Elev8 squad was composed of former college players in NCAA and was reinforced by players from the NBA D-League. But with team work and good ball movement from Gilas Pilipinas they snatch the win from the Elev8 squad.
Paul Dalistan popularly known as Paul Lee led Gilas Pilipinas, scoring 11 points in the first half.
“Good game and win today vs the Elev8 selection. Great ball movement. We’re getting better,” said Gilas assistant coach Josh Reyes on his official Twitter account @josh_reyes.
