The New England Patriots host the Houston Texans in one of the NFL Games on Sunday, start time at 1:00 PM ET, at Gillette Stadium.

The New England Patriots (1-1) bounced back in Week 2 by beating the New Orleans Saints, 36-20. Quarterback Tom Brady threw for 447 yards and three touchdowns in 30-for-39 passes. At age 40, Brady was the second player to record 400 plus yards and three touchdowns in the history of the NFL.

In rushing, Mike Gillislee had 69 yards and a TD in 18 carries while Dion Lewis ran for 14 yards in four attempts. In receiving, tight end Rob Gronkowski had 116 yards and a TD in six catches while James White contributed 85 yards in eight catches. Also, Chris Hogan contributed 78 yards and a TD.

On the season, the Patriots average 31.5 points and 463.0 total yards. Defensively, the Patriots allow 31.1 points and 483.0 total yards.

The Houston Texans (1-0) defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 13-19, last week in a tight and hotly contested game. Quarterback Deshaun Watson showed his strength by throwing 125 yards in 15-for-24 passes, and added 67 yards and the much-needed touchdown.

In rushing, Lamar Miller had 40 yards in 12 carries to compliment the running game of Watson. In receiving, DeAndre Hopkins caught for 70 yards in seven receptions while Miller contributed 26 yards in three receptions.

On the season, the Texans average 10.0 points and 234.5 total yards. On the defense, the Texans allow 19.0 points and 287.5 total yards.

The last time the Texans and the Patriots played was in the Divisional Round postseason game in January in which New England defeated Houston, 34-16.

Patriots vs Texans Prediction: Both teams are 1-1 in ATS and this game is very interesting. While the Patriots have own the Texans in the playoffs, Houston has a mobile quarterback that could make the difference. The Patriots will win this game but it will be a close game.
