The Auburn Tigers (8-4) final regular season game was a defeat to the Alabama Crimson Tide, 30-12. John Franklin III completed 2 of 4 passes for 85 yards, and added 14 yards in rushing. On the ground, Kerryon Johnson rushed for 39 yards in eight carries while Kamryn Pettway added 17 yards in 12 attempts. In the receiving end, Eli Stove posted 87 yards in four receptions.
On the season, Sean White had completed 65.2 percent of his passes for 1644 yards and nine touchdown against three interceptions. Pettway and Johnson have combined for 1985 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Franklin III rushed also for 414 yards. Leading on the air attack was Tony Stevens who posted 466 yards and three touchdowns in 29 receptions. Darius Slayton and Kyle Davis were combined for 471 yards.
After losing two of their first three games, the Sooners are riding in a nine-game winning streak, including a 38-20 win over the Oklahoma State in which Baker Mayfield completed 13 of 19 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, Samaje Perine posted 239 yards and a touchdown in 37 carries while Joe Mixon added 99 yards and a touchdown in 11 attempts. In the receiving end, Dede Westbrook posted 111 yards and a touchdown in four receptions while Dimitre Flowers added 67 yards.
On the season, Mayfield had completed 71.2 percent of his passes for 3669 yards and 38 touchdowns against eight interceptions. Mixon led the way in rushing with 1183 yards and eight touchdowns while Perine had 978 yards and 11 touchdowns in 179 attempts. Westbrook led in receiving with 1465 yards and 16 touchdowns in 74 receptions. Mixon and Mark Andrews were combined for 870 yards.
