Vikings faces Redskins in an important NFL game

The Minnesota Vikings (5-3) suffered from a 22-16 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 9. Sam Bradford completed 31 of 40 passes for 273 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Ronnie Hillman rushed for 30 yards in seven carries while Matt Asiata added 27 yards in nine attempts. In the receiving end, Stefon Diggs posted 80 yards in 13 catches while Adam Thielen added 68 yards in four catches.

Offensively, the Vikings are averaging 19.4 points and 298.8 total yards (226.1 in passing and 72.6 in rushing) per game. Defensively, the Vikings are yielding 15.8 points and 298.9 total yards (205.8 in passing and 93.1 in rushing) per game against the opponents.

The Washington Redskins (4-3-1) are coming from a 27-27 draw with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. Kirk Cousins completed 38 of 56 passes for 458 yards and two touchdowns against one interception. On the ground, Robert Kelley rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown in 21 carries while Chris Thompson added 14 yards in seven runs. In the receiving end, Jamison Crowder posted 107 yards and a touchdown in nine receptions while Jordan Reed added 99 yards and a touchdown in nine catches. Delanie Walker added 42 yards in five catches.

Offensively, the Redskins are averaging 23.2 points and 410.2 total yards (298.8 in passing and 111.5 in rushing) per game. Defensively, the Redskins are yielding 23.6 points and 269.8 yards (246.0 in passing and 123.8 in rushing) per game against the opposing teams.
