World Series Cubs vs Indians Game 5 Scores and Updates: Cubs lead 3-2 at the bottom of sixth

The Chicago Cubs are unwilling to give up the World Seris title as they are leading 3-2.

The Cleveland Indians are looking to close out the World Series in a win in tonight’s Game 5 at Wrigley Field, starting time at 8:00 PM ET.

The Indians are coming from a 7-2 Game 4 victory in which starter Corey Kluber tamed the offensive attacks of the Cubs. Kluber lasted six innings and giving up only a single run. The Cubs failed to rally back though they got an eight inning homer from Andrew Miller.

In tonight’s World Series, the Indians are allowing Trevor Bauer to start. Bauer yielded two runs, six hits and two walks in Game 2, as he threw 87 pitches in 3 2/3 innings.

With their backs against the wall, the Cubs are sending their ace pitcher Jon Lester on the mound. Lester has posted a 1.69 ERA in four starts and 26 2/3 innings in this years postseason run.
