The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the New York Knicks in the opening game of the NBA 2016 season on Tuesday, start time at 7:30 AM ET at The Q Arena.

LeBron James and the Cavaliers are going to start their journey of defending the NBA title against the newly rejuvenated Knicks. With the same core of the Cavs, they are expected to dominate the Eastern Conference.

Kevin Love averaged 9.9 rebounds per game while Timofey Mozgov led in blocks with 0.8 per game. Kyrie Irving averaged 19.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.7 asssists per game. Defensively, the Cavaliers yielded 98.3 points per game against the opposing teams.

The New York Knicks will have to play with new acquired players on the floor. The addition of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah immediately impact the status of the Knicks when it comes to their chances of going into the playoffs. Both Rose and Noah can help in a big way to supplement the outpus of Carmelo Anthony and Kistaps Porzingis.
