Chargers face Falcons in Week 7 of the NFL schedule, a shootout is expected

The San Diego Chargers take on the Atlanta Falcons in one of the NFL games on Sunday, start time at 4:05 PM ET, at Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia.

The San Diego Chargers (2-4) are coming from a 21-13 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 6. Philip Rivers completed 18 of 29 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Melvin Gordon rushed for 94 yards in 27 carries. In the receiving end, Hunter Henry posted 83 yards and a touchdown in six receptions while Tyrell Williams added 28 yards in three receptions. Travis Benjamin contributed 28 yards and three receptions.

In the receiving end Julio Jones posted 139 yards and a touchdown in seven receptions while Levine Toilolo added 69 yards and a touchdown in three catches. Mohamed Sanu contributed 47 yards and a touchdown in five receptions.

Offensively, the Falcons are averaging 33.2 points and 441.5 total yards (329.5 in passing and 112.0 in rushing) per game. Defensively, the Falcons are yielding 27.7 points and 379.5 total yards (285.3 in passing and 94.2 in rushing) per game against the opposing teams.
