The Golden State Warriors failed to bring home another title after losing Game 7. Though the Warriors had the chance to win in the last two minutes, they couldn’t deliver the necessary plays. With the defeat, are the Warriors going to aim the most costly and admirable free agent Kevin Durant?
Rumors and speculations will continue to pop up on Durant’s next home. Add Golden State Warriors as one of the teams that would be evaluating to acquire Durant. The Warriors were just short of two minutes execution in Game 7 to win another ring. Surely after the loss, there’s a great interest to upgrade the team.

Durant, 27, is the most coveted unrestricted free agent this season, that all teams are going to pursue him starting on July 1, the start of NBA free agency.
One of the teams that is being rumored as the landing-place of Durant are the Boston Celtics. History tells us that the Celtics are capable of acquiring a superstar to play in Boston. In 2007, Boston pulled off the most desirable roster that provided the city a ring by getting Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to play with Paul Pierce. The Celtics are equip in luring big names this year through free agent signings or by a trade. By owning the No. 3 pick in the coming NBA Draft, the Celtics will surely bring forth surprises during the draft or even when the free agency signing starts.
The Los Angeles Lakers are also joining the chasers for Durant. Now that Bryant is gone, Durant might be thinking about him as the biggest name in the most popular NBA franchise. Durant will eventually be in a huge city compared to OKC. Moreover, the Lakers have a whopping $60 million in spending power, and that would be enough to get Durant and other superstar to pair with him, forming a super team.
Though the New York Knicks may have a long shot at the NBA title, Phil Jackson will be busy in pursuing Durant. Expect the Knicks to have a meeting with Durant this summer. The reasons Durant might be playing in New York with be his attachment to his friend Carmelo Anthony and of him being a big fan of Kristaps Porzingis. According to Skip Bayless of ESPN First Take,
