Cavaliers vs Hawks Game One: TV Schedule, Start Time, LeBron James is on a mission?

The Cleveland Cavaliers face the Atlanta Hawks in Game One of their best-of-seven series Round 2 of the Eastern Conference NBA Playoffs on Monday, start time at 7:00 PM ET, at Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, OH.

LeBron James remains to be the force in the Eastern Conference. A rematch of last seasons Eastern Conference Finals, James will face the hungry Hawks in what is considered to be a tight series. With Kyrie Irving playing well and Kevin Love following the flow, the Cavs are the favorites to win the East. Truly, the Cavs derailed the chance of the Hawks a year ago in a 4-0 series that paved the way for James to be in the Finals.

Last season against the Hawks in the series, James average 30.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists. In the first round against the Pistons, James averages 22.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.

For the Cavs in this year’s postseason, Kyrie Irving leads in points with 27.5 while Kevin Love tops in rebounds with 12.0. James tops in assists with 6.8, steals with 1.8 and in blocks with 0.8.

The Hawks are coming from a 4-2 series win agains the Boston Celtics. With confidence and momentum going on, the Hawks will try to figure out how to contain James.

”You start at the top, you put pressure on the leader, put pressure on their best player, which is LeBron James,” Hawks forward Paul Millsap said. ”I think we go for the head of the snake now, which is LeBron, make it tough on him, get out to the shooters when possible, just make it tough on them all around.”

In the postseason, Jeff Teague averages 16.5 points and 6.0 assists. Paul Millsap averages 16.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Kent Bazemore averages 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Al Horford leads in blocks with 2.7.
