Cleveland Cavaliers Rumors and News: Kyrie Irvin, Iman Shumpert returns to the roster?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are operating without two of its key players namely: Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert. Without the two, the Cavs still have a decent record of 14-7.

However, the Cavaliers full potential may not be implemented without Irving ad Shumpert. This could affect their chemistry as the season progresses. Cavaliers coach David Blatt provided all the fans a glimpse of the future by telling reporters on Thursday that there’s a chance both Irving and Shumpert will play against the Orlando Magic this weekend. Surely, never discount the possibility of both of them not playing.

Irving, one of the Big Three of the Cavs, incurred a fractured kneecap injury during Game 1 of the NBA Finals last season. Irving’s presence is needed to spread the ball with ease for the Cavs offense. With Irving’s ability to dish the ball, drive to the basket and take a three-pointer, his value cannot be measured. Shumpert was one of the players last season that was acquired by the Cavaliers to produce a powerful team.

While the Cavaliers are going to the playoff, they cannot go deeper without Irving and Shumpert. This is the right time for the Cavs to return to the top of their game with the entire roster healthy.
