Texas 3
Toronto 2

The Texas Rangers play the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday, October 14 at 4:07 PM ET, at Rogers Centre.

The Texas Rangers had a chance to close out the series and advance to the American League Championship Series but failed to do it. The Rangers suffered a 8-4 loss in Game 4. Derek Holland couldn’t lift up the Rangers as he allowed six runs on five hits, including three homers over two innings. Thus, it paved the way for the relievers to extend effort just to try to contain the scoring ability of the Blue Jays. However, the good news in Game 4 would be the eleven hits of the Rangers, enable Elvis Andrus, Mitch Moreland and Robinson Chirinos to drive runs. Cole Hamels will start for the Astros for the second time. Hamels captured a win in Game 2 with the score of 6-4, allowing six hits in seven innings.

The Toronto Blue Jays were able to bounce back and have the opportunity to advance to the ALCS as they play at home. The Blue Jays delivered their best in an 8-4 win that force a Game 5. RA Dicky yielded a run on five hits in 4.2 innings before David Price entered the game and got the win. Price allowed three runs on six hits in three innings. Marcus Stroman will be the starter for the Blue Jays in this decisive Game 5. Stroman allowed four runs on five hits in seven innings in a losing cause in Game 2.
