Japan vs USA Little League World Series Finals. The Little League World Series 2015 Championship game features the two undefeated teams left from the International side, Japan, and from the United States bracket, Pennsylvania.

The team from Lewisberry, Pennsylvania will face the team from Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday, start time at 3:00 PM ET, in the Little League World Series Championship Game in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA.

Pennsylvania pulled off a nerve-wracking walk off 3-2 win over Texas in the U.S. title game while Japan overpowered Mexico 1-0 in the International final on Saturday. Both teams have ended in 4-0 identical record in a double elimination tournament.

With the offensive juggernaut, Pennsylvania outscored the opposing teams 33-10 in the tournament, earning a spot in the LLWS final for the first time since 1990. It was in 1960 when a team from Pennsylvania last won a Little League World Series.

Meanwhile, the Japanese worked hard on defense as they outscored the opposing teams 16-10 in four games. Moreover, Japan is seeking for its 10th LLWS Championship and third in the last four years.

Entering Sunday’s championship game, Japan has yielded fewer than five runs in each of its four Little League World Series appearances. Interestingly, international champions have allowed five runs combined over their last three games. Japan shutdown Mexico, 1-0, on Saturday. Despite having just two hits against Mexico, Japan was able to strand all four of the opposition’s base runners in order to squeak out an extra-innings victory. Thus, Japan will rely on defense to beat the offensive attacks of Pennsylvania.
