Detroit Lions vs Washington Redskins Info 2015: Kick Off Time, TV Coverage Schedule, Odds, Preview

The Washington Redskins host Detroit Lions in a NFL Preseason Week 2 game on Thursday, kick off time, 7:30 PM ET at FedEx Field.

Washington overpowered Cleveland, 20-17, in Week One through the accurate performance of quarterback Kirk Cousins who threw for 154 yards in 12-of-14 passes. Starting quarterback Robert Griffin III, who claimed himself as the best quarterback in the NFL, threw for 36 yards in 4 of 8 passes. Cousins currently is the backup quarterback but Colt McCoy will be competing for that position in the coming games, including this one.

Andre Roberts had 71 yards in four catches while Rashad Rose had 68 yards in seven receptions. Alfred Morris had 42 yards in eight runs on the ground while Matt Jones had 38 yards, also in eight attempts.

Last season, the Redskins averaged 252.9 yards in passing while 105.7 yards in rushing. Defensively, the Redskins yielded 249.4 yards in passing and 107.6 yards in rushing.

Detroit trounced the NY Jets, 23-3, last week through the 5 of 11 passes and a touchdown from Dan Orlovsky. Kellen Moore completed 7 of 9 passes 67 yards, with no touchdowns over one interception. Starting QB Matt Stafford completed 2 of 2 passes for 57 yards. Stafford will be playing sparingly again for this game.

Greg Salas had 92 yards in five catches while Golden Tate had 57 yards and a touchdown in two catches. Ameer Abdullah had 67 yards in seven runs while Zach Zenner had 66 yards in 13 rushes.

Last year, the Lions averaged 251.9 yards in passing and 88.9 yards in rushing. Defensively, the Lions yielded 231.6 in passing and 69.3 yards in rushing (1st in the league).
