PGA U.S. Open 2015 Leaderboard Update: Dustin Johnson on top, Phil Mickelson not far behind

The Golf US Open 2015 is underway at the Chambers Bay Golf Course – University Place, WA. The even is to take place from June 18 to June 21.

Dustin Johnson takes over the lead in the current first round of the US Open at 5-under-par thru 14th hole. Patrick Reed follows with 3-under-par, while Kevin Chappell, Matt Kuchar, Cody Gribble and Hideki Matsuyama are tied at 2-under-par.

Johnson has drilled in four birdies so far as he has taken the top of the leaderboard of the US Open. Meanwhile, Reed made four birdies and a bogey through the 13th hole.

Notables like Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott are just lurking behind at 1-under-par. Mickelson is done through the 16th hole and he started it strong at 3-under-par on the front nine but he bogeyed the 10th, 13th and 14th holes. He managed to shoot birdie on the 11th hole.
