Michigan NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing winner and results

Kyle Larson knew the rain was coming — and wanted it to arrive as soon as possible.

He didn’t get his wish. Instead, the downpour that ended this Sprint Cup race in Michigan gave the victory to Kurt Busch.

With his fuel running low, Larson had to make a pit stop, ceding the lead to Busch only a few laps before heavy rain arrived and ended Sunday’s race

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will take place to the 2-mile D-shaped oval of Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, June 14 at Quicken Loans 400.

Kasey Kahne and series points leader Kevin Harvick will begin in position 1 and 2, respectively.

Green flag start time is approximately 1:16 p.m. Eastern and it will be televised by FOX Sports 1 with Mike Joy (lap-by-lap), Darrell Waltrip (analysis) and Larry McReynolds (analysis) in the booth. They’ll be joined by pit reporters Jamie Little, Chris Neville and Matt Yocum.

The Quicken Loans 400 is the second-to-last race to be televised by the FOX family of networks. Next weekend’s Toyota-Save Mart 350 will be aired on FOX Sports 1, then TV coverage shifts to NBC and NBC Sports for the remainder of the season.
