Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant will do commentary in NBA Finals Game 3

Kobe Bryant will be an analyst for the Chinese media company Sina for its live stream of NBA Finals Game 3 on Tuesday.

Bryant, not in China or in Ohio, will appear from Los Angeles on Sina’s pregame and postgame shows starting at 8:30 PM ET (8:30 AM June 10 in China). Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Cavaliers and Warriors will start at 9:00 PM ET on ABC for American audience.

Sina is opening up the NBA finals with its live streaming NBA Finals across China, offering unprecedented coverage in the population-rich nation.

Bryant is not new to the NBA Finals. He is a five-time NBA champion and two-time NBA Finals MVP. Because of his status as one of the best to play in this century, he has generated large followers around the world, especially in China. The 18-year Laker veteran first traveled to China for a basketball clinic in 1998 and later played for the U.S. Olympic team that won the gold medal in basketball during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

According to rumors, Bryant will play his final year in the upcoming NBA season. Winning five NBA titles would be the pinnacle of his career.
