LeBron James scores 40 points to spearhead the Cavs in a Game 3 victory

LeBron James scored 40 points and Matthew Dellaveda added 20 points to help the Cavaliers beat the Warriors, 96-91, in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The Golden State Warriors seek to avenge their loss in Game 2 as they play the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Stephen Curry has to find his shooting touch before it is too late as he struggled against the defense of Cavs’ Matthew Dellavedova in the previous game. Curry shot only 5-for-23 from the field and 2-for-15 on three-pointers. Though the Warriors have a chance to win Game 2, the shooting woes of Curry affected the entire outcome of the game.

Coach Steve Kerr has to look for ways on how to maximize Curry against the defense of the Cavaliers. Dellavedova was on Curry’s eight shots and the MVP was 0-for-8 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers looke to make a statement as they host Game 3. LeBron James averages 41.5 points, 12 rebounds and 8.5 assists through the two Finals games. James has to be assertive once again to lead the Cavaliers at home.

James has dominated the series so far. He scores like Michael Jordan and he assists like Magic Johnson in the two games he has played in the Finals. James has to make the difference in the offensive. The Cavs hav a a 26-of-28 record at home. Tristan Thompson may not have played his best in Game 2 but this is yet another moment for him to play better.
