Preakness Stakes 2015 Results: Finishing Order, Replay Video and Winner?

American Pharoah won the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, becoming the 14th horse to win the first two legs of the Triple Crown since 1978, the year of the last Triple Crown winner.

Kentucky Derby winner American Pharoah and seven other horses will decide if thoroughbred racing could have a Triple Crown winner this year or if this year will be like the previous 36 years at 6:18 p.m. ET Saturday. That’s the post time for the 140th Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

The Kentucky Derby gets a lot of hype for being the best horse race every year, but the Preakness Stakes is pretty awesome, too. American Pharoah and Victor Espinoza are both looking to stay on top after their incredible finish at the Kentucky Derby. The race coverage is airing from 4:30 p.m. ET to 6:30 p.m. ET. The starting time is 6:21 p.m. ET.

Affirmed became the most recent of the 11 Triple Crown winners in 1978. American Pharoah won the first leg of the Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby, on May 2.

NBC will televise the Preakness, starting its coverage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Kentucky Derby is the 13th of 14 races at Pimlico on Saturday, and some of the undercard will be available to viewers at home through the NBC Sports Channel, which starts its coverage from Baltimore at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. After handing off to NBC for the Preakness, NBC Sports Channel will be back for post-Preakness coverage at 6:30 p.m.

Preakness lovers also will be able to watch the coverage by NBC Sports Network. You can watch Preakness Live Stream Online through NBC Sports Live Extra and by using the NBC Sports Live Extra app for tablets and mobile devices.
