The Chicago Blackhawks take on the Anaheim Ducks in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals NHL Playoffs on Monday at 9:00 PM ET at the Honda Center.

The Blackhawks look for an opportunity to be on top of the series in the pivotal Game 5. Again, the Blackhawks won 5-4 in double overtime through the winning goal of Antoine Vermette. The Hawks want to play at the highest level as the face the Ducks in tonight’s Game 5.

The Blackhawks may have allowed three goals in 37 seconds in the third period of Game 4 but they have 52 hits of their own.

”I think it’s both ways,” Chicago winger Bryan Bickell said. ”They are wearing us down, but they’re getting tired from wearing us down.”

On the postseason, five players have already accumulated at least 10 points each, they ar: Patrick Kane (15), Jonathan Toews (14), Duncan Keith (12), Marian Hossa (10) and Patrick Sharp (10). Kane leads in goals with nine in the playoffs for the Blackhawks while Keith leads in assists with 10. Goalie Scott Darling yields 2.22 goals per game against the opposing teams.

The Ducks have the offensive juggernaut that could derail the defense of the Blackhawks. They just couldn’t hang on in those two games that went into overtime. The Ducks may hope for the bounce of the puck to their side in Game 5

”I think (the Blackhawks) know they’re in a series,” Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said Sunday. ”I mean, I don’t think they think they’ve had it very easy. It’s our job to continue to make them feel that way.”

On the postseason, five players have amassed at least nine points each for the Ducks, they are: Corey Perry (17), Ryan Getzlaf (17), Jokob Silfverberg (14), Ryan Kesler (10) and Hampus Lindhom (9). Perry leads in goals with nine while Getzlaf leads in assists with 15. Goalie Frederik Andersen yields 1.92 goals per game against the opposing teams.
