Brandon Saad started it right, Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa followed through as they scored a goal each to put the Blackhawks in a 3-1 lead over the Ducks after the two periods.

Saad drilled the first goal of the game at 11:33 mark in the second period to lift the Blackhawks in a 1-0 lead over the Ducks. The Blackhawks backs are against the wall and they have to win this game to extend the series.

On the postseason, Getzlaf leads in points with 19 (17 assists and 2 goals. Perry is not that far behind with 17 points (9 goals and 17 assists), while Jakob Silverberg has accumulated 16 points (four goals and 12 assists).

The Blackhawks are not disturbed by being behind, 3-2, in the series. They trailed the Kings 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals a year ago and they rallied to force a game 7. Chicago came back from 3-1 deficit against Detroit in 2013.

”It’s something we know we’ve done before,” forward Brandon Saad said. ”When we’re in tight situations like this, we have a veteran group that has been through it and we know how to win games. We got to take care of tomorrow.”

On the postseason, Jonathan Toes leads in points with 16 (7 goals and 9 assists) for the Blackhawks. Patrick Kane leads in goals with nine and Duncan Keith leads in assists with 11. Brent Seabrook, Patrick Sharp and Saad are expected to connect in tonight’s Game 6.
