New England Patriots Rumors: Jets Darrelle Revis to join Pats in the White House

As part of the New England Patriots that won the Super Bowl 2015, Darrelle Revis plans to be with his former team to meet President Barack Obama.

As a tradition of the Super Bowl winners, they usually meet with the current President of the United States. The Patriots will be travelling to the White House next Thursday and Revis would love to join the team, according to reports.

Revis played a significant role in helping the Patriots in the regular and postseason as he meticulously stopped the opponents’ best receiver in each of the games he played.

However, Revis departed from the Patriots, who declined to continue a $20 million team option. Revis signed a fat contract worth $70 million to play for the Jets, New England’s greatest rivals. While everybody wants Revis to join the Patriots, he would be creating buzz in getting together with his former team, including quarterback Tom Brady.

Meanwhile, New England charged the Jets on tampering after owner Woody Johnson said that he “love” to bring back Revis on Dec. 29. New York fired back, sending its own tampering charge against Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who said he wished Revis were still with the Patriots in March, according to Fox Sports.

A week ago, Revis Twitter account was hacked and DeadSpin got a screengrab in which in the account states profane words against the Patriots. Some of the Patriots fans responded. But the New England Patriots organization had never think about the tweet.

It is interesting to find out the atmosphere of the Patriots with Revis back with them to the capital.

Aside from Revis, Brandon Browner (New Orleans Saints), and running back Shane Vereen (New York Giants). Several others have been released and not signed elsewhere yet, including defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, running back Stevan Ridley and offensive lineman Dan Connolly.
