Green Bay Packers to retire Brett Favre’s number on Thanksgiving

Brett Favre’s number will be placed into retirement this season on Thanksgiving Day.

According to report, the Green Bay Packers and the NFL are going to retire Favre’s number when the Packers play the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving at Lambeau Field. The report says that the number of Favre’s will be placed on the facade inside Lambeau Field.

Moreover, the Packers will have a rematch against Seattle in Week 2 on Sunday night. This is a game in which everybody wants to see, especially the Packers made a major collapse in the last three minutes of the NFC Championship gamel ast season.

The Packers will officially retire Favre’s number and induct him into the Packers Hall of Fame on July 18.

The Packers will play their first game at home on Thanksgiving for the first time since Nov. 29, 1923.

The NFL will release the complete schedule of the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday at 8:00 PM ET. This is one of the most awaited events this month, including the 2015 Draft on April 30.
