Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder: TV Schedule, Scores, Odds, Point Spread, Preview

The Los Angeles Clippers play the Oklahoma City Thunder in one of the NBA games on Sunday at the Chesapeake Energy Arena at 1:00 PM ET.

This is the first time that the Clippers have to visit Oklahoma City since they suffered a Game 5 controversial loss to the as the Thunder scored the final eight points in 49 seconds. The Clippers (33-18) defeated the Thunder 93-90 on Oct. 10.

Offensively, the Clippers average 106.5 points per game on 47.3 pecernt shooting. Blake Griffin leads the way with an average of 22.2 points while Chris Paul averages 17.7 points and 9.5 assists. Jamaal Crawford is part also of the offensive attacks of the Clippers by averaging 15.7 points. J.J. Redick’s averages 14.4 points and DeAndre Jordan scores 10.3 points per game. Jordan also is working hard on the boards with 13.5 average.

Defensively, the Clippers yield 100.3 points on 45.2 percent shooting per game. The Clippers will be tested on the defensive end because this is their weakness. Losing four of the last five games would be considered a failure for the Clippers. They have play cohesive to beat their opponents.

The Thunder (25-25) are searching the right combinations to get into the playoff. Offensively, Oklahoma City averages 99.5 points on 44.1 percent shooting.

One of the problems of the Thunder is getting the players healthy. Kevin Durant has just played 23 of 50 games while Russell Westbrook’s 36. Without the entire roster being healthy, Thunder would have difficulties to win.

Westbrook leads the way as he averages 26.1 points and 7.6 rebounds. Durant comes next with 25.2 points a game while Reggie Jackson is not that far away with 14 points average a game. Shooting guard Don Waiters averages 11.2 points to compliment in the offense.

Defensively, Oklahoma City yields 98.5 points on 42.8 percent shooting. The Thunder, with Durant in the roster scoring 27 points, lost to New Orleans, 116-113, at home on Friday.

“He was comfortable,” Brooks said. “Those were good shots for him and the thing that I always look at is set-ups. When he has great set-ups, he has good energy and he can make those shots and he had great set-ups to get those good shots but they just didn’t fall.”
