Kentucky vs Vanderbilt basketball: TV Schedule, Start Time, Will there be an upset?

The No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats will take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on Tuesday’s college basketball at the Rupp Arena at 9:00 PM ET.

Kentucky (17-0, 4-0) overpowered Missouri and Alabama in a combined 71 points difference. Kentucky shot 48 percent or better in the last two games.

”I think we just came out with a lack of energy offensively and defensively, and it showed in how we played and how teams played against us,” Kentucky forward Trey Lyles said Monday. ”The last couple of games we’ve picked it up, definitely.”

Kentucky averages 76.1 points and 45.8 percent shooting form the floor. On the other hand, Kentucky’s defense just yielded an average of 50.4 points. The Wildcats have the upperhand when it comes to dealing with the Commodores.

The Commodores want to avoid a four-game losing streak but against the No. 1 team in the country. Vanderbilt lost two consecutive tight games to Georgia and Mississippi State by three points each. The Commodores lost to Arkansas in double-digits.

The Commodores have the firepower to upset Kentucky. As a matter of fact, the Commodores average 71.5 points and shot 48.8 percent from the floor.

Damian Jones is the leader of Vanderbilt in scoring. Jones averages 16 points while Riley LaChance with 13.3 points. James Siakam averages 9.3 points while Luke Kornet with 8.6 points.
