Cowboys vs Packers schedule: Aaron Rodgers is not 100 percent

One of the biggest draws in the NFL playoff is the Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers game on Sunday. There’s so much interest in this game that an update on each players would be big in the media outlet.

As of today, quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a slight tear in his calf muscle, according to ESPN.

While the injury will not hamper Rodgers to play for Sunday’s playoff game, it could affect his mobility. Rodgers has used his mobility to evade his defenders  a pass rush. Sometimes he throws the football with accuracy while running.

“There’s no question he will play, but there’s also no question he will not be 100 percent,” said one doctor familiar with the injury. “The question is whether he’ll be 95 percent or 50 percent.”

This could be a big blow to the chances of the Packers. However, coach Mike McCarthy said Rodgers practiced during the team periods on Thursday.

It remains to be seen if the Cowboys vs Packers odds and point spread will be changing after the report about Rodgers. The quarterback rushed for 269 yards and two touchdowns in 43 attempts in 16 games in the regular season. This might be the most affected area of Rodgers’ game on Sunday against Dallas.

Cowboys vs Packers schedule is on Sunday at 1:05 PM ET.
